“I had a great time during O-Week! I met so many new people that i’m still friends with today. It definitely prepared me to get more adjusted to campus since we were doing different activities everywhere on it. Though I did party a little bit, I also took the opportunity to find ways to get more involved here at Chapman so i can make most of my experience here.
Some advice i’d like to give to incoming freshmen is do as many things as you can during O-Week as well as just getting involved in campus. Meet as many people as you possibly can because it’ll make your college experience that much more enjoyable! Even though you might feel awkward initiating conversation with others, but remember that everyone is in the same position as you. Reaching out to some first means a lot to them and shows that you’re interested in being friends. Have as much fun as possible during O-Week because it is the least stressed you’ll be throughout your entire college career. Don’t be afraid to be the first to start a friendship, when you show that you want to invest into someone it can truly make a difference and can even make a friend for life!”
